After writing on Monday about the stress of finding a new job, I am happy to announce that my partner and I have been offered teaching jobs in Zaragoza, Spain!
To say it’s a relief would be an understatement, we are thrilled. It has been a really challenging 6 months but I finally feel like we can resume our lives and begin travelling, which is what we really want to do.
I am looking forward to doing a job I already know I love and learning Spanish.

I will be sad to say goodbye to my family and my dogs, but I know that we will stay connected the same way we did during lockdown.
The anxious side of me is really scared, but I am trying to ignore these feelings because I know it’s my fear of change that is kicking in and telling me to hit the brakes. Luckily, I don’t listen to my anxious brain, because I would have missed out on so many opportunities in my life if I did!
In the meantime, if anybody needs a three-door wardrobe or desk let me know. I have just over a week to pack up my life, wish me luck!
Congratulations to you both! 💕

I’d say try to learn as much Spanish as you can now it’ll make your life so much easier when you move over.
