Hello, beans! It’s been a while. Happy New Year (if it’s not too late to say that by now). During 2022 I’ve been quiet on Wellbean blog, I’ve needed time away to reflect and work out the bean’s next move (announcements coming soon) but for now, I’d like to tell you about a 2023 challenge I have set myself.
On 30th December 2022, I turned 29 and, after taking inspiration from someone I went to university with, I’ve decided to write a list of 30 things I’d like to do before I turn 30 at the end of this year.
1. Run a 5K
2. Do a pole dancing class
3. Do a life drawing class
4. Do a cold water swim in the North Sea
5. Make yoga part of my weekly routine and join a new class
6. Go to a festival abroad
7. Practise meditation at least weekly

8. See a financial advisor to help plan for the future
9. Try paddle boarding
10. Go to a Newcastle women’s football match
11. Climb one or three of the peaks in the UK
12. Volunteer for a charity
13. Get some singing lessons
14. Go on a bike ride and picnic
15. Read 8 books
16. Start journaling daily/weekly

17. Spend more time going on walks around the North East/UK
18. Limit personal social media time to one hour per day
19. Learn to knit patterns and knit a jumper
20. Go on a wellness retreat
21. Go on a horse-riding trek
22. Take Lucky (our family dog) on an ultimate day out
23. Host a three-course dinner party
24. Go and see more plays/dramas at the theatre

25. Take some dancing classes
26. Continue learning Spanish and listen to podcasts to help understand the language better
27. Do a pottery class
28. Do a jewellery-making class
29. Plan a nice surprise for one of my friends or family members
30. Throw a 30th birthday/NYE party
