Three things I am grateful for

Wow I can’t believe another week has passed since I last wrote my gratitude list! I read a great line from a book recently called Honeymoon, which began by stating that: ‘day two zoomed in, as if it were on steroids’. This is how I currently feel about my weeks. However nevertheless, a new week = a new gratitude list.

Fellow bloggers

I am grateful for all my fellow bloggers who connect with me on social media. Two lovely ladies that I have to mention here are S.R. Crawford from The Write Way and Maggy from The Morning Magalogue. They are very supportive of me and my blog on social media and I am tremendously grateful to them both for this.

I’m finding it really nice to part of a community online that inspires and helps you promote your blog. It feels like we all have each others backs and I love it.

Four eating disorder survivors

Last week it was Eating Disorder Awareness Week as I asked on Twitter if anyone who has/had an eating disorder would mind sharing their experience. Marrissa, Adele, Tinka, and Arabella, replied to my tweet eager to share their stories.

I am grateful that there are strong women out there like these four, who experienced such a hard time in their lives and now talk about what they went through to help others.

If you’d like to read their stories you can do so here:

Adele’s story.

Tinka’s story.

Marissa’s story.

Arabella’s story.

My Mum

Last week it was my mum’s 50th birthday, and we had a great time celebrating by going out to our favourite Italian restaurant. I am grateful to my mum because she is always there for me, she always encourages me to follow my dreams, and is my number 1 fan with my music and this blog. I am so thankful that I have a mum like mine.
