Three things I am grateful for

I began blogging on 12th January 2019 and I can honestly say it has changed my life. I feel like I’ve finally found what I meant to do with my life and I’m really excited for the future and where my blog will take me. One thing I love about blogging is writing my weekly gratitude list.

Here is this week’s list…

Blogging success

Last week I wrote about how my best friend lost her dad to suicide and how she is helping others. I was thrilled that so many people on social media engaged and read this post. I wanted to help Lauren raise awareness of her support group, and I am very pleased with how successful the post was. To date, it has had 559 views and 164 shares on Facebook. I am beyond grateful for this, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You can read the full post here. Above is Lauren’s documentary on YouTube, please give it a watch.

Being nominated as Micro Influencer of the Year at the Mental Health Blog Awards

I found out today that someone has nominated me for this award, and I am ecstatic! I wanted to set up my blog to help as many people as I could with their mental health. To know that someone has gone out of their way to nominate me because they like reading my blog is such a great confidence boost. When I saw the nomination I could have honestly cried with happiness.

Stephen Gillatt

This week I have been in contact with a man who writes about his mental health and men’s mental health in general. He wrote a post for my site about men’s mental health as a football supporter and way men can change the conversations that they have. You can read this post here.

I am immensely grateful to Stephen because he offers an insight into men’s mental health that we don’t often hear. I honestly think his bravery is inspiring – and he is written a book as well, which I can’t wait to read! So to conclude I am grateful that there is men in the world like Stephen.

What are you grateful for this week? Let me know in the comments below! Have a lovely week.
